How do you know that someone is jealous of you ?

    None of those prove jealousy, even in combination. They can indicate it, but most of time when those things happen it isn't because they are jealous, they are just a mean person.

    Normally I don't know if someone is jealous of me. I don't actually think that anyone ever has been in my whole life. If they been have they haven't shown it, but kept it to themselves.

      That is not jealousy. You do not know people very well. When some people exists with the purpose of stealing someone boyfriend or girlfriend. These are manipulative people and they know how to play the field but I guess that is something you do not know till you meet one. So believing in them is not wrong.

      But I think a few are not because they can be done with or without jealousy, so to me they are not hallmarks of this emotion.

        Yeah. Sometimes when I'm angry I'll act in certain ways that I would if I were jealous. I don't think there's anyway to distinguish the difference between jealousy or any other feeling unless they tell you bluntly.

    All of those choices could simply be a prelude to something else. There is no way to know unless if the person says it.

    My "friend" loves to make fun of other people. As in, every time we walk down the hallways she always says everyone's ugly.
    She even told me my hair looks like shit and calls me "fucking ugly".

    Also if the person is a narcissist has nothing to do with you. If they are it means they are in love with themselves so not jealous of you they are just a prick over all.
