That's why I always wait a few weeks before cleaning my dog's leavings - so I don't have to suffer the smell when I do it.

Smelly or not it's still shit-doesn't make it any better. It's funny that you'd try to argue that it does.
My dog shits a long way away from the house in a faraway corner of the yard, where I never walk anyway except for the purpose of picking it up.
I see, well its convenient in that sense. I like dogs too but that's the unfortunate downside of pet ownership, picking up after them.
