How do you feel about the government surveying the internet?

    All these "I only care about porn" comments make it sound like you're all a bunch of 50 year old chatroulette type guys. How about them being able to see how much money you have, who your friends are, where you work, what medical issues you have, what strengths& weaknesses you have, etc while you know NOTHING about the people on the other side who are prying into your private info?

      Why would they care about these things? That's why government surveillance does not bother me (TO A POINT) because I have nothing that the government would be interested in.. Why do they care who my friends are? It's not my intention to terrorize America or ambush the government.

        I don't know. I just think it sucks that because some people use the internet for crimes like distributing child porn or whatever that I should have to pay for it by giving up my privacy. And that trojan owners could then abuse me but that's another story (not government related)
