    Scared. I didn't used to be, but my parents are getting older, only one of my grand parents is still alive. I'm scared of death taking others from me. I don't want to be alone.

        Yeah I've heard. I'm an agnostic solipsist. Whilst I don't hold all the Christian stuff to be true, I think you guys are nice though trying to save people and that it's a kind thing to do, so thanks, but it's not for me. I do read the Bible though sometimes, and hold it somewhat holy (the old testament is my favourite).

          Would you mind telling me why you don't think it's for you? Or what parts you hold to be untrue and which parts you regard as holy?

            I hold it as holy because fundamentally as a solipsists I think there must be some reason for it to be at the forefront of this world. I also quite enjoy the stories told in it like Samson and those in the old testament which I find value in.

            I don't believe it to be absolutely true though. I'm a solipsist because of Descartes theory of "ergo cogito sum" and that such is the only absolute truth that can be found in life. Anything other than that is guess work mixed with probability in my mind. I do like a certain kind of Christian though, who truly follow the Bible; as I believe there is a value in there which modern ideals do not push or really understand. Christianity has unified nations and helped produce civilization also which I like.

              The idea of "I think, therefor I am" is only meant as evidence that you exist, not that you are all that exists. I'm not entirely sure I understand your viewpoint.

    Sometimes if I think hard enough about dying, I can feel the abyss, the unknown darkness only to be seemingly yanked back before I get too close. It's like there is a failsafe stopping me from thinking about death too much.
