I'm curious about how people really feel about death.
Yeah I've heard. I'm an agnostic solipsist. Whilst I don't hold all the Christian stuff to be true, I think you guys are nice though trying to save people and that it's a kind thing to do, so thanks, but it's not for me. I do read the Bible though sometimes, and hold it somewhat holy (the old testament is my favourite).
I hold it as holy because fundamentally as a solipsists I think there must be some reason for it to be at the forefront of this world. I also quite enjoy the stories told in it like Samson and those in the old testament which I find value in.
I don't believe it to be absolutely true though. I'm a solipsist because of Descartes theory of "ergo cogito sum" and that such is the only absolute truth that can be found in life. Anything other than that is guess work mixed with probability in my mind. I do like a certain kind of Christian though, who truly follow the Bible; as I believe there is a value in there which modern ideals do not push or really understand. Christianity has unified nations and helped produce civilization also which I like.
