  • I blocked rose myself. I cant stand that old hag. Anytime she posts its "BREAK UP WITH UR SPOUSE" or "SEX IS BAD! STDS!!".

    And she downvotes any comment she disagrees with.

    • That's a real shame that you 2 do not get along. I kinda see her as a light in this place. Idk maybe she reminds me of someone motherly and not being close to my own parents I simply cant block someone cause of it.

      I enjoy conversing with her when it happens in all honesty. Sexually yes shes a bit boring but theres nothing wrong with that. otherwise I think shes someone I could happily have a sit with enjoying some tea or coffee.

      • No I don't care what other ppl do or if they like her but shes one of the ones i cant stand. Almost every post I made would be downvoted until I blocked her. She just brings negativity to the threads

        • Overall shes great and I would never block her. But now that she has me blocked it's not like I can do anything. She doesn't tolerate disagreement well.

            • Haha good question. I don't but that doesn't mean nobody should. I have a gym with fully functional cable machines which I prefer because the resistance curve provides more constant tension where as a band is only more tension at the end. So from a time under tension standpoint, I don't see much point in using one for hypertrophy over a cable machine.

              I don't use them on powerlifts because A, its a lot more dangerous and B, there isn't really any added benefit in my opinion. That can be debated and obviously plenty of people way stronger than me use bands but in my opinion specificity is kind and if we compete with just straight weight and gravity, that's how I'm gonna train.

              I do suggest some clients to use them for a few corrective type exercises for upper back or hips depending what is going on. But if you don't have a cable machine, it's a fantastic home gym add on for not a lot of money. Just cause I don't use them in my program now, doesn't mean I never have. Back in high school where I couldn't always use cables I had some in my garage gym and used them a lot. Very versatile tool.

              • Yeah im using it for my back upper back. I also use them on my legs to get those hard to reach upper thigh area. That seems to help my back pain alot.

                I was doing the resistance bands today inbetween sets of pullups and I was surprised how well it got the back of my shoulders and inbetween my shoulder blades im gonna start doing that more
