What sort of sick fuck thinks it's a sin or a mental illness? People are born asexual, and sins are bad things we intentionally do. Also, it's not a mental illness because it is simply a low libedo.

Chasmstic religiously over reaction without understanding what the scriptures do in fact say. We battle against entities we can not see,not what we can see this decieves us,then we make up educated excuses, making ourselves sound over educated, 6 1/2 one way half doz. The other.

I think it's just low libido personally. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't have a problem with the term though. If your libido is so low that you can't have sex, why not have a simple term for that?

There are some very wishy-washy attention seeking "sexualities" out there now, I'll be the first to say it, but to me "asexuality" isn't problematic.

I feel that is quite rare, but still real. I am aromantic.

      I am aromatic!

If you have sex, do you inform your partners of your aromatic status?

Hey if you get this notification tell SirChazwick that I'm not ignoring him. I'm currently in bed using my phone and the chat doesn't work. I can't post.

  • For those who don't know what asexuality is, it means I have no desire to have sex. I will have sex to keep a sexual partner happy, but I get no enjoyment out of it. It's not painful, it's just....nothing.

  • I'd consider myself asexual if I had to give myself a label, the only sexual thing I do is eat cunt, and that's to please whoever I'm with rather then to please myself. But I blame it on me being medically intersex, so I think asexuality is a medical mishap sometimes. I can feel sexual pleasure, but it ain't a feeling I'm too fond of.

What do you feel in your mind when your body feels sexual pleasure?

      • Discomfort mostly lol. My external sex organs are female while my chemistry, physique, and internal junk is male. Might just be the body dysmorphia messing with me but pleasure is translated as very foreign and unwelcome. Overall unenjoyable.

it happens, its sad that you can't enjoy sex. If you are with a partner it would be fair to tell them and allow them to express their desires within your relationship.

I could care less about it. What I do give a fuck about is people telling me what their sexual orientation is. If I didn't ask you out that means I don't give a fuck who or what you do in the bedroom. Very few people give a rip actually. This sex label fad is for nutbars.

Keep it to your self. You wanna marry a watermelon go for it. You wany no sex, good for you.

Nothing is wrong with it, it's a real thing, and I don't see why anyone should feel pompous for it.

In my opinion you are who you are and that is more than fine!! I think you should be open and upfront with a potential partner about this so they won't misread you as not attracted to them or not interested. Women especially are so used to men that can't keep their hands off that when an asexual comes along, they get confused, hurt and feel rejected (or think he is gau! Lol) because they are unaware and uneducated on Asexuality. Also, being open gives them a choice.

If you don't want to have sex (for some strange reason), I guess that's fine... But it's not a 'sexuality'. Just like being bald is not a 'hairstyle'.

Honestly, I rather envy the truly asexual. I think I would have accomplished much more in my life had I not been so obsessed with my love life in my youth.

  • I think it's fine but I think most people claiming to have it actually don't and are just taking part in our culture's stupid idea that having a different sexuality makes you special.

So, I don't have an issue with it but I do have a hard time that the 1% of them in regards to the human population, are telling the truth.
