Why do these people always attribute human attributes to animals?
"Torn away from their mothers as infants," is meant to tear at the heart strings of humans and in many cases are not something an animal cares about or even understands.
Pets are "Torn away from their mothers as infants" every day, and I've yet to hear one complain or become neurotic because of it.
As much as PETA may wish to do good, many animals fair much better in captivity than they would in the wild, with the shrinking habitats and destruction of their food sources and environment by humans.
I completely lost any respect when PETA when they campaigned to stop humans from eating crabs and lobsters because they "screamed" when being boiled! Crustaceans can NOT feel pain and the "screaming" heard when boiling them is the shell expanding with the heat.
How do you feel about animal actors?
