Violent people are usually not around me because I have zero tolerance for this behavior and mindset in my personal circle. Having said that, if a man (or anyone, for that matter) attempted to assault me without just cause, I would defend myself to the death, provided that I viewed them as a real threat to my safety. If not, I would simply take the "high road" and they could take the "low road" and I'd be in Scotland before Ye.
