How do you define what this site has become?

    Hmmm it depends. I don't really know if its changed months since I've been on here. Compared to real life, their is in increase in the proportion of idiots, mentally disabled and glass half empty types on here which is the downside.

    I think for actual debating important topics this site is pretty shit because nobody wants to have a real debate including me, not to mention are actual lives are so different it doesn't matter. Lotsa people on here all they do is get pissed and try and tear others down which is kind of a waste.

      Yeah, I wish there was more intelligent debate on this site and I do miss The GypsySailor: I often disagreed with but he was almost always worth debating with.

      I do think that generally there is less intelligent debate here than there used to be.

        Yes it has probably gotten worse but I don't really care. That's not the sites value and that's not what it's for. At least for me. I don't come on here all excited to debate it's just annoying.

        Whoops I left the word "him" out after with: I'm not always 100% literate but I do try to be!

        Sometimes this site throws up a nice surprise: I was very impressed with the supportive and intelligent responses to my recent post about my obnoxious daughter.
