You can still like him and not like what he does.
If he's being rude to you avoid him until he acts better.
I would recommend being polite with him but... stay out of his business. If he wants you in his life he will make a point of including you. However if you try to tell him how to live and act most likely he'll you to get lost.
He might be seeing your actions as trying to run his life for him... and as an attempt to break up his relationship. And regardless of your good intentions he may very well resent that.
If she really is bad for him... he will learn. Some people have to learn the hard way.
