That's actually a really good question. I've both been the guy who changed (except I didn't realise it at the time) and the guy who watched his friend change. You'd think that'd give me insight, but it doesn't. It's a good question because there's no obvious answer. I think you may have to accept that things change and that some people may get hurt. Trust your instincts, try and do the right thing, and see what happens. Good luck!
