How do women prefer mens facial hair?

You forgot stubble...which can also double as a sex toy.

I hate facial hair on a guy. I think SOME stubble is ADORABLE and SEXY but I hate kissing a guy with any hair at all. Hair that looks gross is = ANY BEARD/MUSTACHE. They automatically look like weird creepy men who live in a trailer down by the river with their 17 dogs.

I've had mine since high school. Not one of my wives, nor my children has ever seen my face. My parents are dead, so there may be no one alive who has ever seen my face.
The beard itself varies in length and shape, depending on the circumstances. If I'm working it's nicely shaped and trimmed shortish. But if I have no reason to trim it, it gets cut with my hair, about twice a year, as my wife likes it all longer.

It really depends on the man. Some men look best clean cut some look good shaggy.

stubble with no mustache

I prefer a little stubble on my man. He doesn't like having too much facial hair anyways (it makes him itchy for some reason). I find it really hot and attractive, especially with the way it grows on his face. Having a full on beard isn't really attractive to me at all. Either way, my man looks good with and without facial hair.

I would depend on the man.

I like light beards, chin straps (not the douchebag thin ones), and chin pubes but not long.

I've had manny types of facial hair over the years. But none have received more complements then the handle bar mustache and stubble I have now.
