How do women like to be approached for the first time?

I was wondering how women prefer to approached when they are asked out. Obviously this question is for women that know how they like to be asked to a date.
Remember: I am talking about a complete stranger who is asking you out, which one would make you say yes the most?

SM= on social media (Facebook etc.)
IRL= In real life (to her face)

    Try and find common ground like hey you into Star Wars find out some stuff don't just approach her because she hot dog a little deeper after your conversation tell her your attracted to her and ask to go on a date be straight up if you get rejected well it's better than being in he friends zone oh ask her if she's single first that's a hint.     Don't lead with a compliment about her looks or anything sexual. It's tacky and makes us feel incredibly awkward. Just strike up a normal conversation. If she seems into you, then you can flirt a bit and see how she reacts.
