How do i make myself more feminine?

So I'm a biologically male but I want to make myself look more feminine. I'm not transgender (I don't think) but I prefer the feminine look. Aside from big things like hormone replacement therapy and surgery, what can I do to make myself more girly? Somethings I know are doing squats and other similar exercises to make my butt bigger, wear girl clothes, and push my shoulders back to make them look smaller.

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • You could get rid of your hair on your body, like hairy arms, legs and chest. You can go get some female clothing. Get a female hairstyle, learn how women move there bodies, and what they talk about. If you end up getting surgery or are able to pass off as a women be a good transgender and dont try and manipulate men, let them know your not an actual women.

  • Ice skating gives a big butt. Plus you could grow your hair.

  • I would wear turtlenecks and scarves anytime it is seasonally appropriate as to hide your Adam's apple. I would also wear dark colored shirts and light colored skirts and pants because men are bigger in the shoulders and smaller in the hips than women. I would also avoid sandals because dude feet always look like dude feet.

  • I'm a Generation-X chick so I would suggest a little black eyeliner.

  • are you sure you're not transgender cause isn't that exactly what being transgendered is?

    • I'm not a girl on the inside, I'm more gender-fluid. I want to act and feel more feminine, but I don't want to completely be a girl.

      • now I'm interested. do you know why you want to? Is it like when a girl is a tomboy but opposite or is it different?

        • I feel that my personality is very feminine. I tend to be very emotional and wanting to express my emotions to people. I am interested in having a more feminine body type and wearing tighter clothes. I also strongly dislike being "manly".

          • Oh I see. That's interesting. I'm a female but I find that I tend to think and act more like a male. I'm not like masculine nor want to be but I guess i just have a very different mindset than most "normal" females or whatever. I can't really give you advice though on being more feminine considering I'm not very girly, but I was just curious.

  • Put as many fingers in your butt as you can fit, then squeal like you're Pollyanna on cocaine.

  • Is it because of that feminine guy post? Because I think you're about to go overboard.

    • Isn't this site about asking the questions that one is too afraid to ask anyone else?

      • Yes, and getting peoples' honest thoughts/opinions and having fun. I never thought it was about being politically correct and walking on eggshells around peoples' posts.

I only said you're going overboard in the context of the post i mentioned (to attract women who like feminine men), not in general.

        • it's not walking on eggshells and being politically correct... it's about not being judgmental and keeping an open mind.

          • I didn't know that was your post too. So you want to look feminine in a similar way to the guy in the pic?

I like to dress slightly masculine sometimes, but not so much as to obscure my feminine identity - like masc. bottoms (cargo, loose-fitting, work pants... always jeans, never leggings - with a fem. shirt or vice cersa). Just do your hair/wear whatever items you are drawn to and feel like you look good in/feel most comfortable in. If you have an elegant neck, wear a pretty necklace to compliment it.

    • hey, there's no judgements on this site.

      • There's always judgements, you'd be a fool to say otherwise. It's an occupational hazard with being on the internet and having free speech. If you don't want to be judged either don't post or post but expect to be judged. Comments can always be ignored.

        • actually the point of this site is to share things one may be embarrassed by so people can give real open minded advice. Obviously you're on this site cause you do things that aren't deemed "normal" so judging other peoples abnormalities is hypocritical.

          • I agree, but it doesn't change the fact that it's what people do on the internet. There really is no way to make someone post what you deem is appropriate for the site, not without drastic measures. It's best just to face the fact that humanity is very unkind when it comes to freedom of speech.
