No i agree with you. If you're lifting weights or doing something like boxing you need your carbs. But if you're just trying to lose weight its the easiest way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But keto is not the easiest way to lose weight. Calorie matched low fat diets do just as well. Keto worked for you but it does not work for everyone. Trust me man I've helped people diet before. The best approach at getting a calorie deficit depends on the person.
Yeah but not having that sugar spike makes it easier to lose weight. When you are eating carbs and you fast or eat less you feel like shit. Once you get over the keto flu you feel like you could not eat for days. You dont get that same shitty feeling anymore when you cut the calories

This is not true either. I have never met a single one. I have taken nutrition classes and know several other PT's and I've literally never heard this. I'm sure *some* experts recommend it but *some* experts also say fruit makes you fat so that in and of itself does not prove much.
Of course it "works" it's just not any better than calorie matched low fat diets. The specific reduction of carbohydrates provides no extra benefit in fat loss. My mind is made up sorry man.
On keto you burn more fat but you also consume more fat so it still comes back to energy balance, AKA calories in calories out.
