How do i get a suitor off my back?

A coworker decided they in love with me. I am starting to be rude and cruel to them to get the point across. Also I low-key have a FWB so is not like I would be down to fuck them anyways. I just not sure how to bring up my FWB since they suggested "Oh just quit that what I'd do!"

Write him a terse not explaining in no uncertain terms that you're not interested. Keep a copy of the note in case you have to report him to HR.

Yes, give him a dated written letter - and you keep copies.

Yes. And don’t forget to date it so you have a record of it. You don’t need to give him any reason either.

Go to HR. Your coworker is harassing you and that's not okay. Also be careful about how "cruel" you are to him because if you're taking it too far then he could report YOU to HR

In the USA an employer who allows other people to harrass and spread roomers about another person (especially after you turn them down as a date) is likely out a minimum of several hundred thousand dollars if the owner or HR does not take care of the situation pronto. The courts are clearly spoken about this.

You need to go to HR or your manager/owner if a small company and tell them about the issues, and that you expect it to be dealt with in a timely manner, or you will contact a lawyer to file a lawsuit. Anyone with brains in HR, management, or above will knows how that lawsuit will almost certainly end.

The reason so many people get away with harassment is because the victims are not willing to stand up and fight it. Fight it and get HR or the company management or owner involved.

If they terminate you it will only cost them a lot more money - unless you totally made up the story.

        • Update: Said person got fired after started fights with, racially insults to coworkers and sexual harrasement towards males and females in the company. What apperently got them fired despite management knowing of the harrasement was ditching work for four days straight.

Cut your losses, punch the guy in the balls as hard as you can and then quit

I know, I was trying to make a joke because your situation sounds really rough, and I wish I could offer more of a solution. If anything, hopefully it'll die down soon and people will forget about it eventually. I hope that's the case for you

            • I might have an interview coming up but I trying to control my temper enough until then. At this point I likely going to break this person's skull but I have hobbies I do when I stressed instead of what I should do.

You are being a jerk, you should not be cruel to someone just cause you don't want to fuck them. Just say "I'm not attracted to you" like a normal fucking person.

    • I did this and they just say "But why? That's no fair. Why you so mean to me?" And now is gossiping to management that I'm dating my other co-worker. Clearly "Go away isn't working".

What makes you think that would stop the harrassment?

    • I don't feel like it. I don't know what disease they carry and I hate them.
