How do i become healthier?

I'm really a poor example of health. Earlier today I ate an entire bag of chips that had 4 servings in one, plus I have Mt. Dew a lot, like 3 cans a day! My family often has junk food, and I haven't eaten fruits or vegetables in forever. I very rarely go outside, and haven't exercised in a long time. Right now I don't think I look very far but if I keep this up it won't be good! How can I improve!? Any help with be appreciated!

    Well, just reverse everything you told us, and you should see some significant improvement.

    Cut out all junk food, and soft drinks! Start drinking lots of water and eating fruits and vegetables, then get at least 30 to 45 minutes of time walking outside everyday. You can do it! It just matters how much you want it.

      Perfectly said. Especially the walking part. Most exercise is hard to get started, but with walking you can just go outside and do it. It makes you burn some fat but you'll also feel better about yourself. And the less you hate yourself the easier it gets to start treating yourself right.

            Some foods make me sluggish, especially carbohydrates. Too much sugar can make me kinda anxious. Really fatty, salty junk food gives me indigestion and grosses me out. Eating too much junk food makes my acid reflux really bad.

          I do, but I believe if you get more exercise, then it doesnt matter if you consume some junk food, you will still be healthy

    I think you know how to be healthier, it's the opposite of what you're doing now. Don't try and change everything at once: I suggest you start off with a daily walk of at least 20 minutes because that will help your brain function better. Replace some of the rubbish food with fruit or vegies and keep increasing that gradually. Slowly cut down on the junk food which is full of sugar and salt and fat.

    It won't be easy at first but it'll get easier and it will be worth it, it really will.

    Oh if you smoke, cut that out too as soon as you can

    Like RoseIsabella said, start reversing everything you just said by walking everyday 5 to 30 minutes, eat lots of vegetables, fruits and proteins,drink lots of water to stay hydrated then later on start jogging or exercising. By doing all of this you start to see improvement even if you don't feel like you're improving :) Also try to play a sport later on..

    Cook whenever you can instead of eating out...Vegetables and fruits, grains, beans, lots of hydration. Avoid the bad foods like dairy, meat, and fried foods. Eat lots of carbs for energy and limit your fats. That's the diet I've stuck to for 20 years and never gained weight on it despite placing no portion restrictions on myself. Limit processed food and cook your healthy veggie rice bean meals with lots of spices to make it tasty. Eat all the fruit you want for dessert!! Good luck.
