How do guys watch sports tv constantly day and night?

Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who wonders how guys,(although some women too I'm sure) can watch Sportscenter and other shows literally ALL DAY AND NIGHT???? My boyfriend will do this and it is really bugging me! I'm like," Honey let's watch a movie", and he's like,"hold up, I just want to see the score", which then leads to something else, and something else... I am seriously thinking of calling our provider and asking them to cancel ALL sports tv!! Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous??

      I mean i like sports, and can totally get watching games, but NOT leaving the tv on one channel and staring at the screen like a zombie... it's the same stories all day!!

          Oh yeah, that's the other one.. NEWS that spends a million hours talking on the same story! I'm like, "Okay.. I got it, what else is happening now!" I honestly believe it actually hypnotizes some people!

            I think my folks a tr e addicted to Fox News. I honestly can't stand it to be on all damn day, and it's not a good politics. It's about not wanting to waste all time in my day on bullshit.

    Here's the trick. I don't. Lmfao.

    I've watched soccer or basketball on a few rare occasions and don't dislike it, but it's not very interesting to me. Good for falling asleep to, though.

    Boxing is pretty entertaining, but I don't watch it often.

    I prefer documentaries most of the time. Though, I have to admit, I haven't watched much TV in a while, so this is based off of the small amount of time I do spend on that type of stuff.

    Not much of a sports tv fan. I only follow the Champions League, World cup and a few F1 events.

    I'm a dude and I find the obsession over sports annoying. Especially football talk, like discussing strategies of teams, or who paid how many millions for a footballer.
    I don't care! Just watch the damn game.

    For the rest of the time I watch movies with my girlfriend. We take turns picking movies. Naturally I think my movies are better, cause of more sci-fi, actiony, techy goodness.

    I want real life sci-fi spacecraft damn it!!!

      Yes that's what I'm saying, picking out movies to watch together and discovering the world beyond sports! Not too into sy-fy though, but do like some.

      i mean he does do other things, but whenever he watches tv... and this is worse, he'll watch a game that's on like an hour and a half and THEN sit to watch the aftershow wrap up... I'm like, you JUST watched the entire game.. WHY do you need this, isn't it still in your mind?! I just don't get it, there's so much else on we could watch together that's INTERESTING and FUN!

    Not all guys are into watching nothing, but sports all the time. Honestly, I don't mind watching sports sometimes, but if it's all the time it's incredibly boring, annoying and a real turn off for me.

    Im like that when boxing matches are on. Idk why, I guess men are so competitive they live through the players. If we had the opportunity we'd like to be the ones playing the game but unfortunately we have jobs and "RESPONSIBILITTTYYYYY". Cruel world.
