From the 2 gay people I know that I talk to, they straight up told me their sexuality and asked what I am into, like asking the weather (probably because knowing someone online makes you feel more free to talk) but you should probably just ask
"That thing we did... Did you like that?"
Don't try to avoid the main question, just ask it, if it is a "no" then it's a "no". If it's a "yes", well then your welcome ;)
