It's ok to feel like that about your parents. They did not care about you enough to consider these important issues. I had an adult circumision and the recovery wasn't that painful. It was to some extent, but still ok, not a big deal. Anyways make sure you have enough documentation to avoid things like this for your children, unless there is a medical reason behind it. This is the only thing you can do.
