Have her take Advil or Tylenol, use a heating pad, and lie down for a while and watch movies with her or talk.
Depending on the doctor and her level of pain tolerance, getting an IUD inserted can be a bitch. Just let her rest for a while, because walking around will feel weird and she may experience abdominal pain for a week or so, as well as light bleeding; however if the pain is severe, have her check with her doctor.
