How can i find a book when i don’t know the title or author?

About ten years ago my sister was reading this book that I thought looked really good. It was was a horror story about a child who goes missing on Halloween then when they find him he’s different (he might be a zombie) and I think there was a pumpkin on the cover. I randomly remembered it today and suddenly I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve tried to google search everything I know about it but nothing has come up. Does anyone have any idea?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • The book is named “It”. There’s a clown on the cover, not a pumpkin.
It’s a child’s book authored by Stephen King.

Try asking someone with a top hat & a white tipped black stick.

Do any unusual details stand out in your mind such as uncommon character names, place names, etc.? What reading level was it (i.e. something for elementary, preteen, young adults, etc.)?

Call your sister, and ask her, or text her.

Sounds like an R.L. Stine Goosebump book.

You could call a librarian from the children's section of a library (or several)and describe what you remember and see if they know of it.
