    It's because this site mostly has Americans on it, and many Americans have never travelled abroad :D

      Americans ? well , I have no idea how valid that is so I will not argue does this site really have alot of americans ? I thought it was very mixed . OO

        It is a mix, but still majority Americans. You can tell by all the US-centric questions and polls. Everything seems to be from the US perspective :P

        I'm from Britain though.

            Great Britain = England, Wales, Scotland.
            UK = England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland

                Really? I guess it's hard to appreciate your own accent :P You'd be surprised at how many strange accents English people can have.
