Honestly why?

Why is there no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger and neither apple nor pine in pineapple?

Eggplants used to be white and looked like eggs.

Hamburger is named after Hamburg steak from Hamburg germany.

Pineapples are called that because they are fruit that looked like pinecones.

I'm bored so I googled "is there egg in eggplant." " is there ham in hamburger" and "is there pine in pineapples."

I don't care what a food is called as long as it's delicious.
