    A lot of things are not considered acceptable by society, doesn't mean that you should kill your own happiness to appease an anonymous society bent on judging and punishing people.

    As I was saying if you two can keep it a secret, no one will have to know and therefore there won't be any consequences.

    Plus you won't have to worry about pregnancy either-which is a serious concern with male/female unions.

    You're not hurting anyone but loving someone who loves you. Society is still barbaric-so until people become more civilized and open-minded just have your fun but keep it only between yourselves.

      What it really comes down to is...

      I've had a lot of crushes on a lot of people. Some are worth pursuing, others aren't. It just isn't a good idea, and there are plenty more proverbial fish in the sea.

      Risk vs. Reward, and all that.

        I was about to say 'to each his/her own', but I can honestly relate to your situation.

        In my case it's similar with the risk/reward ratio. This is why I've been reluctant.

        As much as I'd love to be with her and she wants to be with me-we really can't at this time.
