I gotta patch a hole in a wall, blood stains etc. Someone will hear the gunshots, it's just better to let the community in on the action. Less work ultimately, also the guy could have a getaway driver. So many variables to deal with. Better just to have a simple plan and stick to it.
Covering up a lawful self defense act is not lawful. Plus I'm lazy I dont want to dig a damn grave for the guy who broke into my house.

You're not a professional. Like at all. And which is more savage? Shooting someone, making noise and spilling blood everywhere or using a technical rear naked choke? Guns are for pussies who can't fight and can't defend themselves. You should only use a gun if you're outnumbered.
Yeah I dont use that logic. A pistol in my hands has the same power as a pistol in yours. Guns are the great equalizer. If someone breaks in I'm shooting them, center mass. I'm not getting in a fist fight with someone, if its public I'm getting out of there if it's in my home I'm shooting the guy.

Yeah. A guy tried to break in, he ran at me, I shot him. Forensics does the clean up. All I do is some paperwork and show up to court for a testimony.
