If you're asking whether your worldview is normal, then yes. The world is full of lonely people, and as you said, many live their whole life without ever finding a serious romantic connection--something most of us require to be a whole and happy person. It's unfortunate, but it's a truth. Too bad you're not a psychopath or a sociopath, were that the case, you wouldn't need interpersonal relationships to achieve self-validation, you'd be able to derive it solely from the self.
