Enamel is supposed to be translucent, but if you are worried about the enamel wearing down then there are a couple things you can do to help it get better. You can use any toothpaste with fluoride in it, that will help to strengthen your teeth. You can try to cut out or at least limit the amount of acidic foods you eat to prevent further erosion of the enamel. Also chewing sugar free gum can help by making you produce more saliva which also helps to strengthen teeth. The most important thing though is to make sure you go to a dentist at least once a year. If it's been awhile since you've been to the dentist then you may want to go and just have at least a check up.
