Help me with hemorrhoid

I have my first hemorrhoid and had it for nearly two years. Was afraid to get it looked at cause I thought I had a major issue. Finally had the courage to ask my doctor. He said it was a level 2 hemorrhoid external and said to use over the counter creams and whips. It didn’t get better and I’d bleeding and painful. Any advise??? Please

Increase your water intake and your fiber intake. I had a hemorrhoid for two and a half years when I was a kid and increasing fiber and water slowly got rid of that horrible feeling that I can only describe as "shitting knives".

If I'm remembering right it was raspberries, artichokes, avocados, assorted beans and peas with like every meal. Oh and fiber supplements. Theres more fiber rich foods than this available, but I was a picky eater and would only eat those. XD

Yeah and spend less time on the toilet texting and shit. If possible invest in one of those stools to have your legs be at the same level of your chest the ol natural way of pooping. This helps with any constipation.

I agree. I don't personally have problems in that department, but birth did a number on my wife years ago, and she finds the stool a huge help.

  • Just burn it off with a blow torch.

Personally, I've found that they go away pretty quick if I drink a couple shots of hot sauce and have a pint of prune juice for a chaser. It works great, some sort of ancient remedy I read online, and it worked great for me!

I actually push it back inside me. I always feel like feces will just fall out. I can’t believe the doctor said it wasn’t bad. I can’t imagine why bad would be. I am not on the toilet long and I don’t strain when I go. This is so embarrassing

I can't offer any stunningly original advice to add to what's been said, but I do think you should try not to be embarrassed by it. Yeah, it's in an area of the anatomy that's private and doesn't often come up in polite conversation, but it's not like you acquired the malady by doing something incredibly stupid, and lots of people have them at some point during their lives.

Humans have suffered from haemorrhoids for a very long time. There's a Mesopotamian book dating back to 1500 BCE which describes haemorrhoids and their treatment. The modern western diet means there are probably more around now than ever before.

Just be glad you don't live in ancient times when those who could afford a doctor were treated by things like having a string tied tightly around the base until lack of blood-flow caused the thing to rot and fall off, or a white-hot iron was used to cauterise them.

When mine flares up I drain it myself with a syringe. It isn't very smart but id rather do it than a doctor. If you drain out all the blood it will feel better.

Also hemmoroids usually go away when you're more regular. They flare up if youre constipated. Go drink a bunch of magnesium citrate every day and it should feel better in a week.
