  • It is normal. If you can, try to use the bedroom only for sleeping/bed related activities. Don't have a T.V. in your room, and try to only read boring things in bed.
    Don't drink sugary/caffeinated drinks after 1pm that day (sorry, I would stay away from the hot chocolate), and people suggest eating dinner 2 hrs before bed (but I can sleep on a full stomach though).
    Again, if you have a project/studying/thinking to do- keep it in the living room/library.
    It might help to write your thoughts down in a journal (also away from the bedroom). Keep the lights in your bedroom low all the time (a lamp or something works). I’ve also found that exercising after work (around 4-6pm) helps me wind down for the day and clear my head of any anxiety.
