Hear, feel, see things while trying to sleep

I read on one of these polls about how normal it is to hear/see things that are hallucinations while tryingto sleep. But what about feel things? I'll explain in a min... I can hear voices and I can hear and make out every word, which doesn't sound like everyone else I've read. Also I see things, which I can identify as not real, but the thing that REALLY gets me questioning my sanity is almost every night there's this warm, fuzzy feeling that overcomes me and I start to sweat profusely and then there will be this feeling that something is.. I guess scanning me?? And it sings while it's slowly going over my body. When I open my eyes it all stops. Then another time I heard monks singing in the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, they said, I'll never forget, "there lies the girl who couldn't let go of her past, now her heart is stained like glass." There was more but that's the only part I remember. I'm newly clean from heroine and meth and I'm wondering if these are normal hallucinations that are just playing on my own thoughts or if I am crazy from all my previous drug use. Any help or suggestions or explanations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Firstly, the fact that you're questioning your sanity is good as if you were truly insane you wouldn't be questioning whether it was normal.
However, drugs like meth can cause psychotic symptoms, even after you are clean. Sometimes the effects can be permanent, sometimes certain things can trigger it randomly and it may pass and never come back if you're lucky.
It is also possible that you were already developing these problems before you started using and it's only showing itself now.

How long have you been clean?

When I quit drinking, for the first 3 months I experienced very similar things. When the mind and body goes through traumatic detoxification, all manner of weird shit goes on. Your mind starts processing experiences you may have had while fucked up that it shelved for whatever reason. The body tries to find equilibrium which it stopped doing while you handled it with chemicals. During this process expect some crazy shit to go down, but don't worry, it's completely normal.

I would hear what sounded like someone rapping on my window, i also had out of body experiences (dreams) where I was half awake and knew it wasn't real due to it being bizarre, but felt very real like I was awake. I heard radios when none were on, while drifting of to sleep. I also heard conversations. I live alone and noone is close to me that I would be able to overhear.

Its all just natural as your brain tries to recover. Enjoy it. Disturbing as it might be.
