    If you can't agree on whether or not to have kids, that's a pretty huge deal. It's not something that can ever be compromised on by either side.

    Better that you break up now than after you get married and things are even more complicated.

      agreed..but wouldn't be more fer if he broke up with me or at least talked to me about the subject earlier if he was so determined of having children...I mean 4 years of our lives just vanished..and I'm devastated..still love him, but rather keep dogs or cats or any other pets than children

        Sorry to break this to you but this is a deal breaker for some people. However its not for all. I personally think your BF is a dick for not being honest with you in a beginning. Clearly you are the more honest one. If he was honest about not caring originally though, he might just be looking for a reason to break up. I am sorry your four year relationship is going to end over this crap. This guy sounds like a jerk. Sorry. If on the other hand you just dont want to give live birth and that the only reason you dont want to, than you can adopt.
