I understand why you hurried away but maybe if you like the looks of the guy then go over and talk to him. if he only wants you for your body then just walk away, you're in control after all.
Don't worry about hurrying away from that guy either, you'll have loads more chances to meet people.
But the first thing you notice about someone is usually their appearance, the getting to know someone comes after :) x
