I haven't gotten any mail in 4 days. In the past, I'd gone a couple days sometimes with no mail, but not 4 days. I wondered if that's normal, so I googled it and one site mentioned identity theft, that someone else steals ones name and redirects their mail to a new address. I'm quite sure that's not it, the post office is now closed til Monday, I'll call then and ask if my address was ever redirected. But til then, I thought I could get a few other opinions and ask a few people here if I'm worrying too much, if no mail for 4 days really could mean identity theft.

    Only worry if you're not receiving bills.

      I've gone 4 days without bills before, but not 4 days without any mail. 2 days, maybe 3 a couple of times, but not 4.

    it might also be amnesia, dementia, multi personality, or any other psychological disease that makes you forget about collecting mails.

    I always go to check it and once a year I get a supermarket card I didn't even request or a bill for some random crap:(

    Last night I went to deliver the last letters of my shift. I was considering killing myself. There was a party going on in the house and the guys invited me in. If I had to be honest, I'd say I had a great time. It reminded me of the secret parties I went to with Johnny, before everyone found out we were a couple and he decided to end his life. So I said to myself "you're gonna have a good time here. Do it for Johnny." Before I left, the guy gave me his phone number and told me to call him if I needed to talk. I was deeply moved. But then he gave me $100% and he made me feel like a beggar. He also called me "postman". I had told him my name, but he didn't care. I felt so sad, mom. He didn't see me as a peer or a potential friend, but someone who deserved his pity. I remembered how Johnny told me I should never let anyone feel pity for me, but I never stood up for myself. I just never had it in me. So I just bought some gummy bears, a bottle of vodka and a couple of razors. I also bought a porno mag for my little brother James. Don't worry mom, it's got women in it. Just tell him I love him. If Susan calls, just tell her I crashed or something. Don't let her know about Johnny, she'd be devastated. I wish I could've been a better son, mom. I really do. And I'm sorry.

    Unless you receive mail on a regular basis I'd try not to worry about it.

    I love receiving no mail. No mail = no bills.

      Is going 4 days without mail a sign of identity theft when before this week, I was going about 2 days a week without, maybe 3 days in a row a couple of times, I can't remember, this is the first week it's been 4 days.

      Yeah. I'm sure I'm worrying too much. Identity theft has just become such a big thing.

          I'll call post office Monday. I just thought I'd get a few opinions now before then so I'm not spending the rest of the weekend wondering.
