My half-brother, who was put up for adoption at 6 months of age, and who I had not met until 4 years ago thru Ancestry, stopped communicating when he found out I had gotten off the Trump "heading for a wreck" train and was a Biden volunteer. No one could say it better than Sounds_Weird did and I second every word. Even my first gf (we were 14 and 13) forgave me for voting Trump in 2016 and accepted my FB friend request again. I thought for sure Trump would blow his brains out if he lost. Unfortunately, no.
