    Yes and hated them. Not so much the movie being poorly made but the entire concept is immoral and fucked up.

    interesting......
    and yes I gave them a go and they (at least the first one) was quite good, but I'm not a big reader so it takes time for me to finish each book

    Hated the book, I refuse to read catching fire or mocking jay. The first one was sort of shifty, and if Twilight has thought me anything it would be: Shitty books don't get anybetter.

    Oh, they are so good! Katniss' character is boring. She has no emotions and no one can relate. I think Gale is stupid and ditched Katniss. Peeta is better for her.

      I think the whole point of her holding back her emotions is because of all the hardships she went through and how she single handedly provided for her family since she was 12, just sayin

    I just started reading the first one last night. The author said she came up with the idea while watching the news, i'd be more inclined to say she came up with idea while watching battle royal.

      My thought exactly. I didnt read the book but when I saw the trailer for the movie the first that came up to my mind was Battle Royal. The idea between the two story is too similar imo
