    I mean... if I was living in a country with a bunch of corrupt people I would vote for the person of the party that didnt recently get arrested on corruption charges. Fernandos parties' previous runner was arrested on corruption charges.

      A question, does "I would vote for the person of the party that didnt recently get arrested on corruption charges" still stand if the other party is more corrupt than the one arrested?

      Yeah, hard to argue over the internets. :/ It's not that simple. The previous president from the same party was impeached without any corruption charges - based on a fiscal procedure all other previous presidents were also guilty of, but never questioned about.

      The 8 years Lula (the one who is currently in arrest) was president most poor people had a better life than in any other time in the history of Brazil.

      Personally, this election result does not affect me as much as the people who live in really miserable conditions. Yet, I still weep.
