I had three plans to kill myself(not at the same time). My first was to suffocate myself with helium, but that seemed like it would take too long because I would have to order the helium online. Then I tried to slit my wrists, but I failed horribly. The cuts were so shallow that I didn't even need stitches, and I never told anyone about it. The third plan was to get hit by a car, but I realized that that was the stupidest thing ever because I could get seriously injured and survive, and have an awful disability
for the rest of my life. After that my dad found a suicide note that I left and took me to the hospital. My time in the psych ward really helped me, and I have a lot more hope now. I think that the reason that I never succeeded in killing myself is that I never wanted to die; I wanted to be dead all the time, but dying is a painful and scary thing that I never had the balls for.
