Have you ever tried to commit suicide? And what caused you to do it?

I tried to drink myself to death. I drank a lot back then and I figured that if I just got through a liter of my homemade absinthe that would do it because it was 70%. I sat in my back shed and decided to sms people, see if anyone wanted to talk. Eventually someone wanted to talk and they talked about how they loved me, I guess something must have told them I might be about to do something self destructive. It made me change my mind.

I also tried to drink myself to death a second time but I only had red wine available and that just didn't have the strength needed, I started to hallucinate and I couldn't really move but after a while I was fine.

I guess mostly I didn't see the point in life, my brother had committed suicide and I just wanted it to be over. I'm in a different place these days.
