Yes, I took citalopram and did cognitive behavioural therapy. I think it's important to have some form of therapy while on anti depressants, as they don't fix anything, they merely stabilise/lift your mood, so that you can have more of a level playing field for dealing with whatever needs to be dealt with.
I also think it's important to note that not every anti depressant will work for everyone - seeing as you've only listed two in your poll, and there are quite a few out there. Some people have to go through several before they find one that works for them - and it's important that their therapist/doctor works with them on that.
So true! I recently haven't been to counseling in awhile an I do feel more depressed I guess its been building up. An your right I shouldn't have jus put two specific antidepressants options:/
