Have you ever stormed out of/quit a job before?
Just wondering, because my friend just did that today. :/ He had good reasons for doing it, but I was also thinking that he might not get a good reference now.

I nearly did very recently. I'm glad I didn't because it would have been for the wrong reasons. I love where I work and what I do.
I can't help but remember the flight attendant who, while arriving at JFK airport, quit and told a passenger off on the PA system, used the emergency evacuation slide to exit the plane and drove home - where he was arrested later.
Yeah, I've yelled at people and stormed out of a lot of places though, not just jobs. It's kind of my 'thing'.
I didn't care about this job really because it was just temporary while I was in college and I had actually just found out I had got the job I wanted. I gave them my 2 weeks notice but the fucking manager pissed me off so bad for the last goddamn time one day so I just told her to go fuck herself basically and left.
I worked at a place for a little over a month and fucking hated the shit out of it. Everyone was gloomy and miserable and rude and dumb as fuck. So when I got hired at my current job I told my manager that I was leaving and said I'd finish the week since they had already made the schedule. She got all bitchy and said don't put them down as a reference because it won't come back good. Well fine by me. I was barely there for a month like I give a fuck and like I would even want to put your dumbass company down. Most people would have just left then and there but I stayed out of respect for my fellow workers. (Didn't want them to have to suffer any more than they already were. ;P)
Walked out of my last job and my previous employers did everything they could to make sure I stayed unemployed and eventually crawled back to them. Two complete freaks of fate scuppered them, though. I was amazingly lucky to escape and, for all the moaning I do, I know I got very lucky in the circumstances that stopped them having power over me.
I was working as a runner for an agency that provided student staff at upper-class sporting events (Horse races, golf and boat races etc etc).
I deliberately wore a pair of Buffalos (but brought along a more sensible pair). In the afternoon, I was told to do my tie up by by some snooty bitch.
I yelled that I couldn't do ties, then got told off and repeated what I'd just said mroe softly while a colleague did my tie for me.
Then, in front of her, I said "You bitch!" and got told that I'd be sent home if I carried on by the chef. Not quite walking out, but I definitely remember at least one member of staff walking out in the middle of the day.
Also effectively walked out of my current - until yesterday - "job", but I'm not even officially employed there and the boss is an utter snake.
