I don't think many on here vote normal or not. It seems they vote normal if they agree or do something similar and not normal if they don't. Many, many times I have seen posts overwhelmingly weighted to normal for things which may be acceptable, but are definitely NOT normal. Normal as in the norm, the most common, the usual way things are done. For instance, it is not the norm, (for the majority of the population) to be gay; it just isn't. There is nothing wrong with being gay, but it just is not THE norm. Therefor, being gay is not normal. Again, this is in no way a criticism of being gay, it is a fact. If the majority were gay, then the straights would not be the norm(al).
You're right, but I think it's better for people to vote what's normal for them. If we vote by "normal activity = done by the majority" then in the above example being gay should get a 0% normal, as most would say that the majority or people in the world are not gay.
But if straight people vote "not normal" and gay people vote "normal", then the percentage of votes gives a better indication of how common or normal it is.
I think depending on the question, people switch between voting their personal norm or voting what they believe to be normal for most people.
Have you ever seen an IIN post voted not normal but in a good way?

This is quite correct. Not normal at all.
