    A helpful hint for guys who have never needed to do this, but suddenly find themselves in a situation where they have to:

    If you're using a bottle, make sure the end of your dick doesn't completely seal the opening. When you start to piss, obviously air is going to need to escape from the bottle, and if you've sealed up the end to try to keep things neat, it's actually likely to make things very messy.

    Yes, a restroom is not always available on long road trips. I have a large water bottle in my trunk, labelled "piss" so it's not mistakenly used for drinking water.

    I've never done this, but my then girlfriend once pissed in an empty plastic icecream container, which unfortunately turned out to have a crack in it! Glad it was her car and not mine.

    Nah. Never been in a position where I needed to. There's always a public toilet nearby and if I knew I was going for a long distance trip, I'd usually abstain from drinking water or beverages before the trip and use the toilet prior to it. Otherwise, my bladder is good at holding my urine.

    Why would I do that? I can always pull over and piss by the side of the road. If I'm on a highway, there are rest areas, or gas stations every 15 minutes.

      ive made autobahn time many times in the usa on 20 hour trips with a good radar detector a a bottle to pee in

      to be clear an arrestable offense

      Surely not on every highway? Certainly not in Australia, some highways go for a VERY long way without a petrol station or rest area with a toilet.

        Well, then that's different... If you can't safely pull over on the side of the road, you may have to resort to bottles.

        In Europe, highway rest areas and gas stations are maximum 15-20 minutes away. Longest gap I've seen with no rest areas was in Serbia. About 75km of highway with no gas stations, or a place to rest.

        I think the longest road in the world with no stops or gas stations is in Australia yes? I forget the name but it was on some list of most dangerous roads in the world.

          Probably one of the roads to Uluru. I've almost run out of fuel on more than one occasion travelling through the middle of Oz. You have to just plan ahead. Also Gerry cans of diesel in the back, if you have them. That saved us.
