Once lol, i just found the whole thing distant and bizzare, if it was a girlfiend or something like that it'd be different but it was a girl i met on a course who'd moved to norfolk, we weren't going out but we'd done pretty much everything apart from actually having traditional sex ( translation i chickened out )

Oh now I get yr earlier post, thanks! And it's true, a fair proportion of callers do ask what I'm wearing after I've told them fairly accurately what I look like. A not very bright caller once told me not to lie about my appearance or what I was wearing because "I know all you girls do". I didn't ask him how he thought he knew that.
I hate it when callers are whispering because their wife or gf is in the next room and one woman did grab the phone and verbally abuse me.

Yeah, pretty much. and I like the flexibility of it. I don't have any set hours, I just log on from home when I feel like it and log out again when I want to and I as long as I keep the phone with me I can just get on with my normal life while I wait for calls to come in. The only disadvantage is that I can't do it if anyone else is around, I get too embarrassed, but I live alone so if someone drops in I just log out.
I have health issues which prevent me from doing any other sort of work, so I'm quite grateful I decided to give it a try years ago as an interim measure and am still doing it.
