Have you ever experienced psychosis?

i had an awful fit of it awhile back, and it took me a few months to shake it. for the most part i just slept because i was so heavily drugged.

some of it still sticks with me though. my train of thought is more irrational than it used to be.

i was just wondering if anybody's ever experienced it. if so, i'd love to have a chat with you, to find out what it was like for you.

    Psychosis can have many underlying causes. Don't judge yourself. There are some rude answers to your question, please ignore them. It's entirely possible you are fragile right now.

    One person suggested you see a p-doc. That's great advice. No shame in it either. Taking care of your mental health will enable you to take care of everything else in your life.

    Try not to worry. See doc, be okay.

      I agree with you. See a doctor.. if you have a regular one see them to see if they can refer you to someone that will actually help. I suggest seeing a psychologist rather than a psychiatrist, since they tend to just medicate you. Working with your DR and a psychologist can give you more of a positive outcome... good luck either way..

    Yes, I have experienced psychosis. It's normal in certain circumstances, but don't get your hopes up. I'd like to talk with you.
