I knew a white witch and she said she'd learned a spell which could bring flies back from the dead. She'd tried it twice and it had worked. But when she showed people, it didn't work.
She showed me and she was doing all this weird breathing like trying to pretend she wasn't breathing while breathing really hard. The upshot is that the fly started to move because she blew on it. She told me the spell was working but really it was just a dead fly being blown around a bit while lying on its back, utterly departed from life.
In retrospect, I wonder what advantage is gained by bringing flies back to life. They're hardly Mother Teresa, are they?
She's a vet now. I guess the scientific approach to helping animals won out in the end.
