Yes I can see that as forgiveable too depending on the situation but at the same time they should break up with that person in the first place before thinking about having sex with another even if it was abusive. Thats what I don't understand is how can you stay in an abusive relationship when that person is hurting you; that's not love. :\
There are reasons I believe it's best to know the person as friends for a while before entering a relationship. It takes time to "actually" get to know someone. :)
I agree with Saycheese, If your not happy with the relationship then get out of it. The excuse, "it's easier said than done" is not a legitimate excuse. Just have the backbone to break up and move on.
