    No, I wouldn't call it love. Love is not one-sided. It was more of a hurtful longing.

      I agree.
      Love without reciprocation is just an infatuation.
      People who mistake infatuation for love, usually haven't been in a reciprocal relationship yet.

        Actually not true in all situations. I have known my friend for over 7 years and have been very close. It wasn't until the past year that I developed a feeling beyond " just friends

        She has always been there for me through all the good times and bad times, and through my past break ups.And I have been there for her as well.

        I can honestly say I Love her and not infatuated with her. She says she loves me as a friend, and it kills me inside.

        Infatuation is always with someone you don't know that well, or know very little about and it's always about the physical. I fell in love with my friend without having sex with her, I love her for everything she is.

          awwww.... poor baby im sorry maybe one day ull find someone u love more and or she will come around!... she might just b scared that if u break up if she dates u she will lose ur friendship... i wish the best for u!

          But you are still so young. It WILL happen!

          I was 21 when I first experienced reciprocal love. I was 26 years old the next time it happen and I married him.
