Yes, I have thought I was in love, but now in retrospect I think it was overrated. I don't think my real life experiences ever measured up to what has been portrayed in popular culture.
If I could start all over in young adulthood I would concentrate more on my education, specifically higher learning, and career aspirations rather than participating in any romantic entanglements.
