Only one real fight when I was nine years old and my cousin and I were walking around a gym. Just randomly, 3 or 4 boys our age started making fun of me and yelling at me (they had a bunch of those gymnastics mats stacked up about 6 feet in the air and they were all sitting up top and yelling down at us).
My cousin walked over, grabbed a mat near the bottom and yanked it out and they all came tumbling down onto the floor and we all had a big brawl. Keep in mind, I'm just a little girl with these great big glasses, so I'm trying to cover my face and I get punched right in the cheek. Meanwhile my cousin proceeded to kick everyones ass.
I also played Co-ed hockey and was the only girl on the team. When I was 12 or 13 I got the puck and was on a break-away down the ice and some guy on the other team just came out of nowhere and smashed me into the boards from behind and winded me and the whole time I was in the process of falling to the ice, he's just laying the fists to me, and we weren't even a checking league. So he goes to skate off and everyone in the arena is just booing the fuck out of this kid and I jump up because I got a big burst of adrenaline and I took off after him and smashed into him too and I remember hearing him go "OOOF!" and feeling like I just wanted to beat the fuck out of this kid because now he knew what it felt like to get blindsided. He fell on the ice and two of his team mates came over and started punching me in the helmet and then it was a big shit show. My hair was always short when I was younger so I guess they didn't realize I was a girl, I heard they were really embarrassed after they found out but looking back I think it built my character so I don't really care haha
